Why We Return to Love Songs

December 08, 2025

Some healing is fierce. Some is tender. Love songs often do the second kind of work — they let us feel without fixing.

Whether sacred or classic, a love song can name what we cannot yet say: missing, hope, devotion, repair. In that naming, the heart is less alone.

Our Love and Easy Listening shelves hold both devotional pieces and familiar favorites. There is wisdom in returning to melodies that already live in the body.

If a song opens grief, let it. If it opens gratitude, let that too. Healing is spacious enough for both.
